Man Slugged as Three Robbers Flee in N C Home Invasion
In Iredell County, two women were held captive and a man, J C Rumple said, was slugged and robbed of over 1900 dollars. The attack occurred Friday afternoon at a Haskell Ballard residence with Ballard and his mother-in-law’s social security check taken. Police sought three men described as in their 20s or 30s, with one dark skinned and two light skinned. Ballard suffered a head wound requiring five stitches.
