Colonel Haubrich ordered Captain James Collier to investigate the shooting after about 400 inmates fired L88 tents inside the stockade. The 88 tents housing rioters were destroyed by fire and will not be replaced. Prisoners in the stockade will sleep outdoors as most refuse to work. 200 inmates are in solitary in the White City cell house with bread and water.
