Mother's Day Reflection and Edgar A. Guest Poem
The piece blends a Mother's Day meditation with a short portrait of Detroit columnist Edgar A. Guest. It discusses the day’s meaning without sentimentality, then presents Guest’s poem from A Heap o’ Livin’ about building home through shared life, memory, and the loved ones who shape home.
