High Point Garden Club elects Jensen as president
At the YWCA meeting of the High Point Council of Garden Clubs new officers were installed including Mrs. Harold Jensen as president. Other officers named were Mrs. Edgar Johnson president-elect and Mrs. Luna Ray and Mrs. H. Edward Saunders as secretary and parliamentarian respectively. The group announced committee chairmen and honored retiring president Mrs. Lee. Guest speaker Mrs. Paul Kincaid discussed gardening containers from several countries.
