School Students Hear Talk On Railroading
SHOMASVILE May 1. icielh O Kirkman manager of the High Point rville and Denton railroad and prominent young business man spoke to students at the school this week. He described steps taken to improve railroad safety and the standard equipment used in the industry. The talk was part of a four lecture series sponsored by the Beehive club prior to the beehood students.

Trio Killed in Owa Tornado Romps Through Iowa and Minnesota
A tornado cutting a 50 mile path killed three people and injured about 50 across northwest Iowa and southern Minnesota.
