Remodeled Ocean King Hotel Destroyed By Fire

Atlantic Beach NC was struck by a large blaze that destroyed the remodeled Ocean King Hotel and damaged nearby businesses. Mayor Alfred Cooper estimated total losses over 500000 with the hotel alone at 375000. about 35 guests were evacuated safely as flames reached the second story. Firefighters from several towns fought the blaze with hydrants and ocean-side hoses. no injuries were reported.

Senate Panel Backs West German Rearmament Pacts

Diem Wins Big as Cao Dai Army Joins Government
