Easter Awakening at Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill
The Morehead Planetarium at the University of North Carolina opens a 45 minute production Easter the Awakening, running through April 20 with nightly shows and weekend matinees. Anthony F. Jenzano says 25 000 visitors are expected and 3 000 children from 25 Carolinas towns attended opening. The program blends science and the Easter story with symbolic lighting and sound to portray Christ's crucifixion and resurrection.
