Local Judge Hands 30 Day Sentence in Larceny Case
Winston-Salem resident Robert Eldridge known as Eightball received 30 days at the county farm after being found to deal in produce and to have stolen baskets from a Main Street supermarket. The judge noted Eightball’s knowledge of produce may aid him at the farm. Additional cases involved a father signing a bond for his son after a run driving conviction, a suspended six month sentence with conditions, and other drunkenness and larceny matters with appeals filed.

Two Young Boys Face Robbery Charges After Bank Incident

A Superior Court jury awarded David Boyles Sr 1000 for injuries and 250 for property damage against William H. Piner. In other civil actions Judge Crissman signed two consent judgments. Ray Mitchell received 3856.76 for injuries and 768.24 for property damage after seeking 12000 and 1420. One case was non suited.
