Huskies to the Rescue in Belgium Transport Aid
American GIs in Belgium witnessed a flotilla of C-47s land at a field and unload 160 Eskimo Huskies with 25 dog-team experts and sled gear. Lt Col Norman led Arctic Rescue efforts to apply a proven mercy method abroad, following a track of saving stranded fliers in cold northern regions.
