North Carolina Senate approves new intermediate court of appeals
The North Carolina Senate gave final approval to a bill creating a six judge intermediate court of appeals to sit in panels of three and relieve the Supreme Court's workload. The measure now heads to the House for rapid approval ahead of an October launch.
