Leaksville native Dr. Wilkes maintains a medical practice at 206 Trindale Road Archdale after moving there in October 1964. She studied at the University of North Carolina Greensboro Bowman Gray Medical School and did post graduate work at Baptist Hospital. Her hobby interest includes folk music and guitar.
