Bottle Letter Traced to Sealed Message From 1917
Dorothy E. Becker of Newcastle New Hampshire received a Denmark man’s note from a bottle she cast into the sea at Newcastle Beach on April 22 1917. The Danish recipient Joen Johansen Faroe Isle Denmark mailed the reply via England and enclosed Becker original note asking friends to write to her at Box 63 age 13 years 4 months. The pickup location and date were not stated.
