VFW Auxiliary Elects Delegates and Hears Donations
Delegates to District 10 were elected at the VFW Auxiliary meeting held at Post 1960 on West Burton Street. Elected: Mrs Reid Williams and Mrs James Windham. alternates Mrs J R Graham and Mrs T C Potts. Members reported 100 percent quota to cancer and research aid, with funds for Easter needs at Murdock Center and health programs at Radio Free Europe and Eaton Rapids. Hospital work planned for March 22.

Miss Bundy Hosts Modernettes at YWCA Meeting
Lynn Bundy a Andrews High School senior performed an interpretation of Man From LaMancha for the Modernette Club at the YWCA on Gatewood Avenue. Invocation by Mrs. John Mears introduced new member Mrs. J D Dobbins and announced a April 4 covered dish dinner at Mrs. Jack Barrer home. St Patrick's Day themed luncheon tables accompanied door prize won by Mrs. Jack Bell.

Mrs. Lee Describes Callaway Gardens Visit
Mrs. W B Lee spoke to the Out Our Way Garden Club about Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain Georgia. She said founder Carson J Callaway opened the 2500 acre site with three golf courses lakes a quail preserve woodland trails and an English Gothic Chapel hosting Sunday organ concerts.
