The North Carolina Hospital and Training School association will hold a regional meeting in Asheboro on Wednesday. WH Hospital officials from Greensboro Burlington Winston-Salem Reidsville Asheboro and nearby cities are expected to attend.
The funeral of Rev. Zachariah Taylor Simmons pioneer Congregational minister among Negroes in North Carolina and founder of the Fairview Street Congregational church was held after services at his Winston-Salem church.
