Man Jailed Twice For Wife-Beating
Baxter Wiley, 44, of Palmer, was arrested this morning in handcuffs on two counts of assault on his wife Thelma Wiley and a charge of resisting an officer. He had been arrested last night for the first assault charge and released on bond. Neighbors alerted police to a second beating at Lindsay Street involving Wiley and his wife.
