The courtroom heard details as global war news dominated front pages, with Red Army advances and Allied air raids influencing the atmosphere.
Senator McCarran proposes the All American Flag Line a federally chartered private carrier to operate world wide air transport with capital over a billion dollars. The plan involves existing carriers joining to funnel international traffic to designated entry points while prohibiting a single carrier from owning a controlling stake.
