A. F. Blackwelder of High Point filed a superior court suit against the city of High Point and two police officers W. B. Carroll and A. J. Hussey seeking 5000 damages for injuries from an arrest on June 12 1933. He claims officers used grips breaking his arm and that he received no medical care until the next day while confined in a dirty cell with two others and no bed.
