Millis Fails To Prove City Coop With County in Delinquent Taxes
A closed county city session failed to prove that High Point officials cooperated with county tax collection. Millis claimed a five year old and a newer agreement affected foreclosed property taxes, but city manager Knox rebutted paying county taxes on foreclosed property with no revenue. The meeting, held behind closed doors, saw opposition from the city council and manager over taxing city foreclosed property.
