Easter Seal Campaign Under Way In High Point
Mrs. Clarence Peace chairs the ninth annual Easter Seal drive for the High Point Pilot Club. A committee including Mrs. Ross H. Davis Mrs. Lula Raper Miss Elma Ellis Miss Earline Robinson and others opened the sale. The campaign funds rehabilitation treatment and education for crippled people.

Easter Lily Sale by High Point Anchor Club
The High Point Anchor Club, sponsored by the Pilot Club, will sell Easter lilies in the city business district on March 30 and April 6. The club runs a five year old home bound teaching program with nine pupils and four regular teachers and provides wheel chairs bed lifts crutches traction kits and hospital beds and also sends children to summer camps.
Paint, An Experimental Communication by Neal Thomas
Neal Thomas of Clarendon Plantation Wilmington North Carolina writes a 1958 MFA thesis at the University of North Carolina proposing painting as an experimental communication. His works, shaped by bas relief and sculptural folds, are shown in Chapel Hill and Wilmington with recent awards and public sales funding local scholarships. He plans periodic teaching at St Johns Gallery as his career rests between North Carolina venues and New York exposure.
