Judge John J. Parker Dies in Washington at 72

Judge John J. Parker of the Fourth U S Circuit died in George Washington Hospital Washington after a suspected heart attack. He was in the capital for a committee meeting on criminal law administration and wasHome in Charlotte North Carolina. Parker, born 1885 in Monroe, built a notable federal and state constitutional law career and was once considered for the U S Supreme Court. His early practice began in Greensboro and Monroe before moving to Charlotte.
