A spring themed hair style show will be held tomorrow evening at 7 30 in the Sheraton ballroom. Thirty five models will participate and proceeds go to the group’s charity fund to aid Mills Home in Thomasville. Bridge and canasta follow the show.
The Garden Center will be held Thursday at Straughan's Book Shop with hours from nine to five. In charge are Mrs. Noble Praigg, Mrs. D. R. Parker, Miss Effie, and Mrs. L. L. Winkinson. The theme is summer bulbs.
Oakview pre school clinic will be held tomorrow at nine o'clock. Parents are reminded to bring each child's birth certificate.
The Almanac Club and Almanac Garden Club plan a morning gathering at Mrs. E. Gibson Jr.'s home at 10 o'clock. Mrs. H. P. Morrison will speak on camellias, sharing expertise with members.
The L L L Class at Green Street Baptist Church will meet tomorrow at 7 30 PM at Mrs Lawrence Combs home 2313 East Lexington Avenue. Secret pals will be revealed in the gathering.

The Brentwood Parent Teacher Association holds a regular meeting tomorrow at 7 30 in the school auditorium with Edgar Hartley as speaker. Miss Blanche Haley will preside for the Allen Jay PTA meeting tonight at the Jay School. The event combines a study group with the meeting and features performances by special groups from Saturday’s music contest.
The schedule lists daily Y W C A events for junior high and young adult groups. Activities include clubs, luncheons, guest speakers, dinners, meetings, swimming and games across Tuesday through Thursday with times such as 4:00 5:30 7:30 and 3:30.
The Modernette Club hosted an informal tea at the YWCA on Saturday afternoon from 3:30 to 4:30 for new and prospective members. About forty guests met at the receiving line with officers including President Mrs. Fred Hughes and Secretary Mrs. Robert Sheloff, while refreshments were arranged by Mrs. W. W. Gluyas and Mrs. Harvey Speaks. A social hour followed as members were introduced, and goodbyes were said to Mrs. Bill Morris.

J. O. Gold of 405 Barker Street collapsed at St. Marys Episcopal Church yesterday. He was moved to High Point Memorial Hospital where doctors report his condition unchanged this morning and state he cannot receive visitors.
