Converted Barn Becomes Willow Creek Clubhouse Setting
A sylvan hillside site hosts the Willow Creek Golf Club in a converted barn. Interior designer Mrs. Lawrence Metcalfe, recently retired from Alderman's, shapes a restful, aesthetic clubhouse with wool tweed carpets, exposed oak floors, weathered gray paneling, and antique trunks. The space features brass accents, Delft blue leather, brass lanterns, and black leather seating, with windows and fabric walls creating a warm, rustic atmosphere.
