The Fair Grove Home Demonstration Club met at Mrs. George Wright’s Fair Grove Forest home with Mrs. F. E. Childers as cohostess. Miss Sally B. Whitaker, assistant Davidson County agent, led a furniture remodeling demonstration with slides. Mrs. Wright presided at the business session and refreshments were served to 10 members and the guest speaker.
The Young Musicians Club met Saturday at 811 Hill Crest Dr to hear Dr. Lew Lewis discuss his instrument. Judy Sloop gave a Brahms life sketch as composer of the month while Mrs. W E Swaringen stood in for the counselor. Refreshments were served by host David Dalton and his mother.
Calendar lists events for the wedding party from rehearsal at First Methodist Church to a cake cutting at the Snotherly home and a wedding breakfast at the Sheraton Hotel. The ceremony and reception occur at First Methodist with attendees including Mr. and Mrs. Everette Verne Snotherly.
