Racing Champion Evans to chase 150 mph diesel record
National champion Dave Evans, who last month set the U S world speed mark for diesel cars at Daytona Beach, plans a second attempt in April to reach 150 miles an hour. He aims to reclaim the diesel record from Bill Cummings who boosted it to 137.196 mph. Evans says the goal remains to keep the diesel record in the United States.
