Prison Land 3 Purchased With $400000 Funds
Enterprise Bureau reports the purchase of additional farm land for the State Prison with a $400000 bill enacted. Governor McLean cites agriculture as the main labor for prisoners and says the prison has operated on a self supporting basis with rising net profits. The plan aims to employ 400 prisoners, arguing land expansion is needed due to overcrowding and limited suitable jobs.
