Halph Vance Wins Debaters Medal
Ralph H. Vance a junior won the Thulean society debate medal last Wednesday. The Wagler Jewelry company awarded the medal for the debate on whether North Carolina should ban teaching evolution in public schools. Ralph H. Vance was the best speaker on the negative side and the team also included Fred G. Pepp. Other Thulean members will enter upcoming inter-collegiate debates in March and early April.
