Opening Day Prep At Adams Memorial Y On Gatewood
Work crews including executive director Miss Dot Gueth and maintenance supervisor Gerry Coleman spent Friday polishing the new Adams Memorial Y on Gatewood ahead of a 3 PM dedication and cornerstone ceremony. The expanded facility will offer programs for housewives and career women including Slim Gym classes, swimming, sewing, bridge, millinery, and a new parenthood course funded by a Chicago grant. Bible classes begin on the first and third Tuesdays each month.
