House-Warming Invitations For YWCA Building Opening
The YWCA invites members and friends to a House-Warming Monday March 11 from 7 30 to 10 p m at the J H Adams Memorial YWCA building marking its first general visit to the new home. The event is run by the membership committee with Mrs Fred White Carver as chair and features music, refreshments, and a receiving line including Mrs J H Adams and relatives who donated the building in memory of J Hampton Adams. A new Adams Club industrial group was organized at the YWCA using the Adams home on North Main Street as its headquarters. Officers include Mrs S.
