Pretty party for the young set at First Reformed Church
Miss Catherine Whitener hosted a 7:30 to 10 PM party in the church basement for schoolmates and intimate friends. Miss Emma Howe from Massachusetts attended and helped lead indoor games like One-and-a-half Shift to Gne to Right and Whistle. An elaborate ice course with whipped cream and minced fruits followed by punch complemented a pink and green decor. About fifty guests enjoyed the event, deemed one of the winter’s most successful occasions for the young set.

Spring dress design features pearl gray soft taffeta
The article describes a new afternoon model in soft pearl gray taffeta with contrasting blue trim. The foundation skirt sits close to the body and the straight waist sits below the belt line, while a bouffiant silhouette is created by an overskirt draped to shirred fronts and backs, leaving side fullness and puffs.
