Firefighters Answer Call At Cotton Mill
High Point city firefighters were called at 9 11 am to Highland Cotton Mills on Mall Street where a fire was found in the spinning room. They laid lines and stayed about an hour. Other calls included a flooded oil circulator on A W Withs Ave and several small fires and disturbances around town.

Two out of state men are anticipated to be arrested soon by the FBI in the unsolved 1967 killing of a 67 year old Columbia motel clerk.
