A dense list of church circles and guilds set weekly meetings across multiple congregations. Activities include WSCS circles at Linday Memorial Methodist, Rankin, Archdale and Calvary churches, plus women’s groups at St Edward’s and Main Street Wesleyan, with venues and hostesses named.
The High Point Pilot Club will meet Tuesday evening at the home of Mrs. Shelly York in Archdale. The board of directors convenes at 7:30 with the business meeting following at 8 o'clock.
Guilford County residents may enter the festival with entries due March 8 to 10 at the Chamber of Commerce High Point and Greensboro Woman's Club. Some categories register on site, others to be received later due to storage limits. The festival runs April 19 to 27 at the High Point YMCA.
Pfeiffer College representative Miss Mary Floyd will lead a study session on An Introduction to Five Spiritual Classics at First Methodist Church High Point. The WSCS program runs Tuesday at 7 30 PM in the church assembly room and is open to Women’s Society members of area Methodist churches. Corn syrup note appears as a culinary aside.

Garden Makers Club opened its month at the Garden Center with a Spring motif. Mrs Carter Holbrook and Mrs Tom Pitts led the first arrangement. The final week features The Last Days of Lent with a religious focus led by Mrs Sidney Gayle Jr and Mrs George Marsh.
North Carolina State Nurses Association District Nine will hold a dinner meeting at the YMCA in Lexington on Wednesday evening at seven o'clock. The event brings local nurses together for fellowship and discussion.
A large turnout filled the Jamestown school cafeteria for a Jamestown Garden Club benefit card party. Seven chairmen hosted events with door prize drawings led by Nancy Sullivan. Prize awards went to multiple residents in bridge canasta bingo and other games. A line about beef pot roast weighing at least four pounds appears as a stray note.
