Jet Lands After Losing Tail On B52 Flight
Test pilot Charles F. Fisher, 36, landed a Boeing B52 with four aboard after most of its tail fin was lost. The jet hit severe turbulence at 14 000 feet over Sangre de Cristo Mountain in Colorado and landed safely at Blytheville Air Force Base Arkansas. Crew included Richard V. A 19 year old AWOL Marine, Michael Lee Gambrill, admitted killing his father mother and sister in Decatur Illinois.
