Local lad begins career as Marine
Walter M. Robbins of High Point North Carolina is training at Parris Island South Carolina in marine drills duties and customs. He enlisted for four years after applying in Columbia and may pursue Marine Corps education courses during his service. Robbins is the son of Mrs Daise Robbins of 309 South Hamilton Street High Point.
