Ex Members Of Agriculture Board Fiercely Resentful
Raleigh June 28 The State board of agriculture saw ousted members react with sharp resentment over Governor Broughton’s failure to notify them before announcing replacements. C S Young of Shelby and Mrs Vivian Stevens of Indiantown were unaware they would be ousted until arrival for the board meeting. Mrs Stevens was replaced by Miss Ethel Parker, drawing strong protest from supporters including the former woman member.
