Family murdered in Fordyce. station manager killed

Fordyce Arkansas June 25 a service station manager Lee Grinmett 47 was found shot to death with his wife Ola 85 and daughter Nancy Louise nine badly beaten and in a grotesque condition by neighbors who went to the Grinmett home after hearing shots early today authorities investigated the triple homicide at the residence likely connected to the confrontation and ensuing violence.

Truck Kills 17 Year Old Near Greensboro

Worth Edwards, 17, was killed instantly when struck by a truck driven by H. A. Leeuwenburg of Wallace, North Carolina, as he walked along the highway near his home west of Greensboro. The driver is held on manslaughter charges. sheriff's officials will hold an investigation later today.

Officers On Trail of Desperadoes In Answer To Threats

Lubbock Texas June 25 Officers tracked a condemned orderer and three other convicts today after they escaped from the county jail pursuing them west across the plains. The sheriff’s forces issued a shoot to kill order in response to threats. The fugitives named Ed Stanton Andrew Nel n Bill Coupe and J B Stephens along with two hostages Posey and Campbell were last known 56 miles away last Spring.

Hermit killer eludes posse after Wolcott double slaying
