He says he is confident and will address policy matters in his speeches. reporters note his relaxed mood during a 20 minute stopover in Chicago yards en route to New York.
Miss Hannah Jane Burton 59 well known resident dies at local hospital yesterday afternoon. Body taken to sister Mrs Erastis Mendenhall's home in Thomasville. Funeral from Prospect M E Church tomorrow at 10 to interment at 11 led by Rev T B Johnson. Surviving: two brothers A C Burton High Point and J W D Burton Cedar County Mo and one sister Mrs Erastis Mendenhall Thomasville.
Miss Ione Stoker, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. EB M Stoker of 505 Mallory Street, died at 2 am after kidney disease. She had been well yesterday and played in the yard. funeral at 2:30 pm tomorrow at the Stoker residence, with Rev. J M Hillard officiating.
