Judge Accused Of Failing To Get Car Inspected

Charlotte Restaurant Destroyed
Oriental restaurant claimed to be Charlotte's oldest eating place was destroyed by a two alarm fire late Wednesday night. Firefighters battled the blaze for about 90 minutes, dense smoke and heat hampering efforts. three firemen were treated for smoke exposure. Eight Satellites Sent Toward Space Outpost
Eight satellites launched by a Titan 3 rocket aim to form a jam proof military communications network linking Washington Saigon and other strategic points. The seven relay satellites will orbit about 21 000 miles above the Earth while an engineering satellite tests gravity assisted stabilization. Liquor Ration Cut In Viet Nam By Half
The U S liquor ration for military and civilian personnel in Viet Nam is cut from six fifths per man per month to three fifths including wine. The Pentagon says the cutback aims to curb black market sales and lessen strain on logistics and security. In 1965 American personnel consumed about 460,706 cases of liquor and wine. through May this year sales nearly matched that pace. Packaged liquor is sold at 27 PX outlets plus drink purchases in dining rooms and clubs. About 70 percent of liquor sales are by the drink.
