Commendation Letter on Bible Interpretation by Local Editor

A reader praises John Mebane's article in The Enterprise urging balanced Bible interpretation amid modernism and literalism. The letter argues the Bible is a record of God's dealings and warns against anti liberal extremes, urging faithful preaching and faith in Christ. It cites historical misreadings of prophecy and stresses the need for spiritual deliverance through the gospel rather than sensational displays. The writer signs as A Lincoln Fulk from Lincolnshire England and notes other regional items on livestock, hospital bed listings, and a renamed chamber of commerce.
