Early June Auto Sales Behind

DETROIT AP Chrysler Corp and Ford Motor Co reported their early June auto sales behind the year's pace. Chrysler tallied 25,766 in June 1-10, vs 43,294 a year ago. Ford sold 59,918 in June 1-10, vs 65,582 a year earlier. May figures show Chrysler at 42,672 for the final 10 days and Ford at 1,832 for the final 10 days of May.

Nuclear Conference Tied To War

In Geneva the Soviet Union said no agreement to curb nuclear weapons can survive while US Vietnam and West German policies continue. Soviet chief delegate Alexei A. Roshin delivered a bitter anti American speech at the resumed 17 nation disarmament talks. The US statement marked a shift from prior policy that Vietnam would not disturb Geneva negotiations.
