Miss Elsig Gales, a piano teacher in Bidno, will continue her classes here throughout the summer months. Her studio is at 320 South Main Street, and the announcement came this morning. Mrs Bouldin hosts the Cornelian Club meeting on Johnson Street Friday at 8:30.
Thomasville society news notes a busy weekend with visits from Mr and Mrs J A Green of West Main Street. Families including Boyles Hayden Swigart Stone and others are listed as visiting, with Vera Green hosting a bridge party for Emma Hoover and updates on relatives traveling to Greensboro Baltimore Lexington and Roanoke.
The High Point GO Chapter session in Charlotte is postponed by the president to attend the grand council meeting. No klub meetings Thursday with duplicate bridge luncheon hosted by Mrs. Mendenhall at Par Heel Tin at 1 pm. Priscilla club meets with Mrs. Shipman on the Parkway at 10 am. Mrs Byauly and the Daisy Davies Missionary Society held an memorial program at the Robert Sechrest residence on South Main Street in memory of late Miss Belle Bennett. Mrs Chandler reviewed her life and the Scarrett Bible and Training School in Kansas City. Mrs Millis spoke on The School Carrying the Gospel, followed by Mrs Kearns on memorial reasons.
