A stray puppy was brought to Hartman Hospital last week after likely being hit by a car. An orderly found a broken leg, the pup remains under care with a splinted leg awaiting its master as nurses tend him.
Policeman Thomas Clifford found taxi driver Frank Leonard 33 driving in the wrong lane. Leonard asked to ride to the police station with the taxi. Judge Alphonse F. Wells fined him five dollars plus five dollars costs. Leonard offered to pay nine forty five to settle. the judge refused.
