Roaming Davidson County Rural Life And New Homes
Ed Lane visits Davidson County in Midway and Abbotts Creek Townships. He notes numerous new homes along Cucumber Road near Canaan Church Road and Smith's Service Center run by Vernon and Kenneth Smith. He observes a prosperous community with hard surfaced roads and local industry. In Wallburg, a large school crowd gathers on the last day as playful girls entertain the audience with swings and slides.
