Weather Washouts Push Southern Amateur Second Round
The Southern Amateur golf tour delayed by rain rescheduled its second qualifying round as a powerful storm washed out Tuesday’s play on the 6,900 yard course near the Atlantic. About 80 of 200 players remained on site when officials halted action, shifting the event finish to Sunday and keeping long leader Billy Joe Patton atop the field with 143 total.
