Society Notes Highlight Local Bridge Parties and Weddings
Fortnightly Bridge club hosts Mrs Sam Davis at South Main. Over the Teacups members meet tomorrow at A D Brockett residence. Dinner guests include Mr and Mrs Eugene Webb of Thomasville and Mr and Mrs Ralph Hopkins. Beta Pi plan at Sheraton with Ruth Balsam hosting. Parkway Club hosts two tables with high score going to Mrs T V Rochelle. Presbyterian supper set 5:30 to 8:00 with chicken and ham. Wedding rehearsals for Tom Thum wedding and a beauty of a ceremony at E W Holton residence on Steele Street. Dorothy Perkins roses decorate the home and Miss Mary E Gibson and John O Tesh wed later in the week. Music by Miss Pearl Reynolds accompanies the reception. Out-of-town guests include the Gibson and Simmons families.
