Oakview Principal Hosts Oakview Teachers Luncheon
Twenty two Oakview School teachers were entertained by Principal J. R. Wells at Brinwood Restaurant. He received a silver Paul Revere bowl, while two brides elects Miss Diane Hardy and Miss Pat Lewis were each given silver chests. Special guests included Mrs. Poovey, Mrs. Haseldon, Mrs. Pruette, and Mrs. Cook. The Oakview Teachers Club funds gifts and flowers and sends delegates to conventions.
