CIA Agent Edwin G. Moore II Sentenced in Espionage Case
A federal judge in Baltimore temporarily sentences Edwin G. Moore II a former CIA supply officer to life in prison after his espionage and theft convictions. The judge will revisit final sentencing after a medical review due by Sept. 1, noting the extreme damage possible if Moore had sold CIA documents to the Soviet Union. Moore claimed he was recruited by a CIA operative and used as a pawn.
