Farmer Returns To Face Charges In Guilford County

Greensboro July 1. C D Webster a 30 year old Guilford county farmer and his 12 year old stepchild wife have been returned to Guilford County Jail on charges tied to the Mann white slave act and conspiracy to violate the act. Indictments await grand jury here. He left his farm near Gideonville on April 7 taking the girl and marrying her in Hagerstown Maryland. The pair were arrested several days ago at Harrisburg Pennsylvania.
