Janet Builds Her Own Harpsichord Despite Busy Schedule
Janet Hinkle, daughter of Mrs. Peggy Hinkle of Overbrook Drive and the late Dewey Hinkle, completed a harpsichord kit costing 700 dollars while juggling college studies at High Point College on a Presidential Scholarship. She assembled the instrument with help from friends Eddie Hood and Don Wright, decorated it in wedgewood blue, and plans to use it in a fall recital and future concerts. Janet aims to pursue graduate studies and a possible concert career after college.
