Lindale and Farmer's Dairy Merge to Form Farmer's Dairy Inc
Directors of both Farmer's Dairy and Lindale Dairy vote in favor of a merger. The new firm will operate plants in Winston Salem and High Point with expanded facilities and an enlarged distribution area across multiple North Carolina counties. Major staff changes and continued leadership are noted. The history note recalls the first Bible printed in American soil in Massachusetts Indian language.
