Pastor Hunter Reconciles After $8000 Theft Confession
Reverend W C Hunter of the World's Church of the Living God in Chattanooga repaid $50 toward an $8000 theft from a food store 14 years ago to ease his conscience. Police said the statute of limitations had run out, allowing him to stay free as he sought forgiveness from God and man. He described a past obsessed with gambling, selling family meals, and a 72 hour binge before a life change led him to become a pastor.
